Football Field in Cuenca (overhead)

Any sales proceeds for this clip, after Pond5's portion, will be donated to the fledgling American football program in Quito. American football is two years old in Ecuador. There are five very loose teams throughout the country; however, sponsorship and the level of income in the country, as with any new sport, has been an obstacle for the advancement of the sport. Donations will help purchase equipment, organize the league, and promote the safe execution of the game as well as health. You may not know, but American football is beginning to thrive in Mexico and South America, especially Brazil. Brazil currently has a state league and a national league with over 30 teams participating. Colombia also has several teams practicing and playing. Fortunately for Brazil, the level of income in the country has allowed the development of the sport beyond pickup games of football. We envision the same for Ecuador and South America in general.
